From raw components to retail product, customer service encompasses every aspect of our processes. Technical assistance, quoting, order management, processing and transportation are all geared to meet your specific needs.
Currently our team produces more than 150 assemblies (sub assembly or complete product). Included in that mix is management of consignment parts, new and old tooling or fixtures, maintenance and production of consignment machines, numerous packaging configurations and many other aspects of Total Contract Assembly Production.
Problem solvers
K-O engineering support staff works with you to solve manufacturing and design concerns on each program. Familiarity with IGES, Ideas, Auto-Cad, ProE and other commonly used programs helps produce a robust design.
We review all available materials in thicknesses from .014” to .500” and various process options to improve part performance and lower your costs. These may include brass, tinplate, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, HRPO, CRCQ, hot dipped galvanized, galvannealed, electro-galvanized, pre-painted metals that reduce timing, plastic, rubber, stampings from plastic extrusions, stampings of plastic-coated magnetic materials, dips and coating applications.
Quality assured
In addition to specific tests you request, we commonly perform salt-spray, pull metal, impact, cross hatch, metal hardness, plating and paint thickness, adhesion, and tensile tests to ensure agreed-upon quality levels. Testing plans are driven by a FMEA and APQP.
At every design and engineering step, K-O incorporates Value Analysis and other Cost-to-Production partnering. All pre-production activities are displayed on Timeline including PPAP and sampling, SOP, and release activity.

Should an emergency need occur, your Purchasing Contact gets home phone numbers for members of K-O Management so expedited service is available 24/7. Customer Service and Quality personnel will lead you through any issues until the problem is completely resolved and you are satisfied.
To speed communication, K-O currently uses several customer designated Web sites and software for ASN’s and offers an FTP Site for easy download of your large cad files.
